L&B has listened to skydivers across the globe and has answered the call with OPTIMA II™! The OPTIMA II™ is a more advanced audible altimeter with extremely accurate altitude detection.
OPTIMA II™ is so accurate that it has an added set of warning beeps that can be set for a specific altitude during normal and high speed landing approaches. This feature has been added to aid both swoopers and conservative pilots alike find the “sweet spot” for initiating landing sequences. It is recommended that your eyesight and your experience be the primary source of determining at what altitude to start your landing sequence or pattern approaches.
Hail the return of the visual warning light for audible altimeters! L&B has made the ability to increase your altitude awareness by adding a visual LED port to warn you at the altitudes you set. (by special order).
The QUATTRO™ audible altimeter is the latest in micro technology and features the most advanced programming for accurately measuring freefall & canopy descent rates. The QUATTRO™ allows the skydiver four sets of warning altitudes for high speed and three for low speed flight. This provides added interactivity in configuring frequently used warning alarms.
The QUATTRO™ can also be set up to three climb warning alarms for the ultimate in precision altitude awareness.
The QUATTRO is fully automatic and can be manually turned off or on as well. The QUATTRO continually reads ambient air pressure for real-time accuracy and attention to ground level.
The QUATTRO's small and ergonomic design provides the user with comfort and less bulk when used inside a soft or hard-shell helmet. Rigging materials are included for those wishing to mount the audible on the outside of a helmet.

The VISO II+™ is a digital faced visual altimeter for those skydivers who prefer a digital display over a traditional analog display. VISO II+™ is packed with features and is the perfect visual solution for skydivers. VISO II+™ can be set to display ALTITUDE or VERTICAL SPEED.
Improvements have been made to the VISO II™ in the PLUS model to include a thicker, tougher shell casing and lens to reduce the possibility of breakage and cracking under normal use. Another upgrade to the previous version is the VISO II+™ viewscreen is that we have upgraded the processor speed and the available viewing angle to lessen screen flicker/refresh and to allow a wider viewing angle. This makes the new HD VISO II+™ screen easier to view and from more angles and helps viewing in bright sunlight.

LB designed the ARES™ to be extremely easy to use and packed with features. The large number LCD screen is easy to recognize and read when the jumper is in freefall or under canopy. LB’s attention to detail with the variety of accessories allows military jumpers to personalize and customize to fit their mounting needs.
A specially designed Sew-On Pocket can be put on the ARES ™ to make it easier to attach to a glove, altimeter pillow, NAV board or jumpsuit and is a separate accessory. LB also offers an elastic arm mount with our molded pocket for secure arm mounting. The LB ARES™ Elastic Mount is available in camo colors and features a raised Lens Guard for great screen protection.
